Since 2009, SP is the Regional CDIO Centre for Asia. The CDIO framework enables institutions to re-examine and advance their engineering/technical curricula to attract and train talent better. It is applied to enhancing curricular planning, designing new learning experiences and assessment approaches, facilitating active learning, promoting innovation and enabling learners to excel in multidisciplinary teamwork.

Temasek Foundation – Singapore Polytechnic – Ministry of Industry (Industry 4.0) Programme in Indonesia

From 28th to 30th September 2020, Singapore Polytechnic conducted a workshop online for 60 Management staff and specialists from Ministry of Industry, Indonesia. The objective of this programme, funded by Temasek Foundation, is to enhance the capabilities of specialists to develop and implement new training courses to meet the evolving manpower needs of Industry 4.0. The programme was well received by the participants as they interacted with the facilitators remotely over the three days as a result of travel restrictions due to COVID-19. We look forward to meeting the participants again at the next workshop!
